Meet the Team
Mark Bennett and Eric Norfleet co-founded Beech Boys in 2022 to provide the highest quality contracting services to the Eastern Virginia market. Eric and Mark both grew up in Virginia Beach and have been best friends since (ahem) the Nixon administration. Both graduated from the University of Virginia in 1988.
Mark moved to Washington D.C. after college and spent about 10 years in public relations before becoming a general contractor in 2003. He co-founded the design/build firm Enzo Group in McLean at that time. Mark moved home to Virginia Beach to be a contractor for America's Home Place from 2020 to 2022, before co-founding Beech Boys.
Eric moved to New York City after college and spent 30 years in finance. After leaving New York in 2018, he became a small business consultant, then founded a company that renovates vintage camper trailers. He was chief financial officer at Clearview Companies, a Virginia Beach real estate investment firm, before co-founding Beech Boys with Mark.
